you have a 2.8 300 mm lens, that sounds VERY expensive. Very top of the line quality lens...good for you :) I've got my eye on the 70-200 2.8 Pentax, but its $2300, so i'll have to save up. cool shot my friend, we could see 1000 photos here and never see one quite like this. The more I view it the more I like and appreciate it. and yes, I'll take a DSLR anyday over a cell phone. cheers

To macjake: Hello Mac
I should have said that it is an FD. This old lens is over 40 years old. The glass is lens to perfection. I have the adapter mounted to use on the DSLR. The cool thing about this is that you have to go back to old school,. manual focus, set up exposure manually with the cameras light meter. But it is all good. At first I did not want the lens......until I saw the price of new. yikes. I am considering also getting a full macro FD to save cash also. A great way to get around the prices of new digital with all the electronics. Less to go wrong. Now all I need is a job that will send me all over the world......Just a thought.
