Hello Paul,
Your explorations brought you to a very interesting and beautiful place! Not many people can boast that they live in an extinct volcano!
Your viewpoint is excellent, using the stream as an angled guide to a strongly positioned bridge, whilst on opposing sides, we have greenery and pretty, red-roofed houses.
I like the posed photograph of the refuse workers. You can see their characters from their poses! Did they gesticulate a photograph or were you able to communicate verbally?
Have a good day, Bev :-)

Thank you Beverley,
Communication with these men was only possible with gestures. I stayed in a small budget hotel where the man spoke a little English. I also met a Macedonian who lived in France and therefore also spoke French. There were no other tourists in the hotel and the owner guided me to the interesting places for free. Kratovo wasn't exactly a town where you could communicate with just anyone. There was a good bus connection with the capital. Kind regards, Paul |
