Photographer's Note

the "moula-moula" is a very shy little bird,nearly always present where is a tree.Friend of every day,he is one the easier animal to see in this zone.
Take a picture is a bit harder,you need some patience or luck,i could note that he always stays in the shadows of branchs,and as he is dark,and the background clear because of sans or sky,you can't shoot him easily!!
a kind of defense to survive in Sahara.

Lovely photo! This bird is very cute! I really like the composition of the photo with the bird positioned to the left looking towards the right of the frame. The pale out of focus background is great and makes the bird stand out very well. Excellent detail and framing. Well captured!

While I find the position of the bird to be good, I feel that it could do with a little extra sharpening and I find the branches above too distracting and feel that they should be cropped. As a solo photo its a bit weak, but as a part of a set its a great addition.

Je me souviens d'avoir admirer ces petits oiseaux lors de mon s駛our en Alg駻ie en d馗embre dernier. Malheureusement je n'avais pas de focale sup駻ieure au 105mm et je n'ai donc m麥e pas essayer de les photographier. J'appr馗ie donc d'autant plus ton image car j'aurais souhait� pouvoir en faire autant! Ton cadrage est bon avec cette branche sur laquelle l'oiseau repose et la nettet� permet de bien voir les d騁ails du plumage. Bravo!

Hello Patrick,
Ca fait un moment que je voulais commenter ta photo.
j'ai pris, moi aussi, quelques clich駸 du moula moula lors de mes ballades au sahara (mais mon zoom n'騁ait pas assez puissant).
C'est vraiment un oiseau embl駑atique du d駸ert.
Ta prise de vue est remarquable de nettet� et ce petit moula moula est superbe !

Hi Patrick, a very good photo but I would consider cropping tighter onto the bird to remove the three twigs at the top as I find them a little distracting. Excellent sharpness and colours. Regards, Paul.
