Extremely good composition, but some dirt at the right down end and a very strange colors: grey sky but not blue ? Anything went wrong in digital treatment ?

Bonjour Patrick. Belle image avec un contraste saisissant entre les tonalit駸 chaudes du sable et le gris m騁allique du ciel. Image l馮鑽ement sous expos馥 ce qui finalement est plut b駭馭ique pour cr馥r une certaine atmosph鑽e o� les contrastes prennent le dessus.

Great shot this Patrick. I love the detail and sharpness and colors of the sand and rocks. I like what you did to the sky as it makes the place look a bit more alien and by making it less colourful you make us spend more time looking at the foreground. My only moan is that little piece of something in the bottom right corner. A spot of cloning is required I think. If you prepared to do a bit of PP on the sky then you can do the same here.

wow itｴs beautiful...the structure od the sand always fascinates me on this kind of photos, really amazing...I would leave it with neutral frame if I was you, but thatｴs only personal taste and has nothing to do with the shot, the photo is perfect!

Beautiful light, Patrick--I like the darkness in the foreground that tapers gradually up to full light. I have mixed feelings about the gray sky--it's an interesting effect artistically and makes for a coherent color scheme, but it detracts attention from the shot as a pure landscape. It's definitely something worth trying out like this, though. It's thoroughly enjoyable, anyway, as a great composition with fine texture. Regards, Ken.
