Photographer's Note

I wanted to share one more picture from my whale watching trip. This time you see here just the tail fin of the whale, the most popular photo which people manage to take during a whale watching. I like this one because I managed to photograph it with the Boa Vista coast in the background. It anchors this whale watching photo to this particular location.
As mentioned in the longer note to my first whale watching photo, I really enjoyed this tour and I would like to repeat it someday but only in the high season when the chance to actually see the whales is high.

Hello Mariusz,
At first sight I thought I saw a bird flying low over the waves. Upon closer inspection, it is indeed a whale's tail.
The question remains whether the whales never slap the boats, consciously or by chance.
The coast we see here does indeed look like a desert bordering the ocean.
The soft pink of the land goes well with the blue ocean.

it was so close of the beach. nice view including the mountain, beach and the tail, that works like a big bird flying above the waters. excellent.

Hello Mariusz,
Another great photo of a whale's tail, one this time that didn't make such a large splash in the water. The blurry view of the sand dunes and mountain makes a great backdrop as well.
