This is the old and only minaret of Ibn Tulun mosque, in the centre of Cairo. The mosque was built in the 9th century and is one of the oldest in Cairo.
When I visited it was complete deserted. The complete building has the adobe look.

Hello Tonny,

I know this mosque with the special minaret as spiral. Interesting place and nice presentation. Who goes there? it is a bit out of centre. Also when I was there there was no one ans specially no white women.
