Photographer's Note
The 'Lady of grace'.
This is one of the many names, the King Ramesses II used to call his wife ,
the Queen Nefertari.
Could the petite lady-in-black , the reincarnation of the Queen ?
It was a scene I came across while walking around in Aswan.
I did not walk far , just along the main street where the boats docked
and a bit of nearby side streets ( WS2 ).
In the WS1, I like the colourful 'street art' on the wall.
Still keeping the Egyptian ( Nubian ) themes.
Another image of a woman ( left ), also wearing black, sort of.
Thanks for your time.

Hello Loong,
These are interesting photos from Egypt, quite different from what I am used to seeing. The graffiti paintings in the main photo and WS #1 are probably officially sanctioned but nevertheless provide an interesting blend of modern street art and ancient Egyptian art. WS #2 is more like a chaotic street anywhere in Egypt. The main photo is the most interesting to me, photographically, for the inclusion of a person (even better: a woman), who is well placed at a third from the side, with a tree as a frame behind her back. I really wish I had seen something like this when I was in Egypt long ago.
Best wishes,
Gert

Hi Loong, three beautiful photos from Aswan, a city that tourists visit little because generally organized trips allow little time, preferring other wonders that are located near the city. The first is a photo that seems stolen, with the lady in black contrasting the many colors seen here and also in 2 WS. Beautiful the scarab and the other symbols between past and modern, while the signs of the shops are really invasive, evidently in Egypt they do not pay the tax on the signs as in Italy ... ahahaha .. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Loong,
Very interesting graffiti of Nefertiti and her distinctive hat, which I saw in Berlin Museum, but was unable to photograph due to 'no photo' signs. Good colour and sharpness. Tfs!

Hello Loong,
What an interesting series of photographs.
I was fascinated to learn that the graffiti was so steeped in the Egyptian tradition of pharaohs and hieroglyphs.
Your main photograph is very well composed, the f/g nicely anchored, a fine sense of depth and the lady in black seeming like a drifting ghost from the past (well apart from her modern bags!).
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Loong,
Dear Mr. 王,
I've never thought of Egypt as a country with graffiti and/or murals. Honestly, I can't remember ever seeing it during my two trips through this country.
Your main photo and your first in the WS give me a new view of Aswan. Your second photo in the WS seems a lot more recognizable. That one shows the Aswan I've also seen.
The drawing on the right in your main photo seems to be three-dimensional. That picture has a good mix of modern life and views of the ancient Egypt.
The mural in the WS is much more modern and beautifully colourful.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Loong,
I like the title:). Interesting street art, especially this brown part. Attractive inclusion of the woman in black with the red bag. When I was in Saudi Arabia, all women were just like she, in black. I was the only tourist, in dark green :). Nice view of the street, strange almost empty. I remember the streets very chaotic. Interesting street art in Workshop.
Best regards Malgo
