Photographer's Note

During a three-day cruise on the Nile between Com Ombo and Luxor,decades of riverboats crossed the river and in both directions.It is a enchanting travel crosses no one medium Egypt,seeing and admiring the ancient culture of Egyptians and of course the current natives that lives a calm and unsophisticated life

Playing and creative with the new Photoshop CS4.

Κατά την διάρκεια μιας τριήμερης κρουαζιέρας στον Νείλο μεταξύ Κομ Όμπο Λούξορ,δεκάδες ποταμόπλοια διέσχιζαν τον ποταμό και στις δύο κατευθύνσεις. Ήταν ένα μαγευτικό ταξίδι διασχίζοντας κανείς την μεση Αίγυπτο βλέποντας και θαυμάζοντας τον αρχαίο πολιτισμό των Αιγυπτίων και φυσικά τους σημερινούς γηγενείς που ζουν μια ήρεμη και απλοική ζωή

une photo tr鑚 interessante sur ces bateaux croisi鑽e dur le Nil, preuve que le tourisme bat son plein l�-bas.
Un peu trop d'aillleurs, ce qui m'a fait annuler la croisi鑽e que je devais y faire ce mois d'avril.
Une photo tr鑚 lumineuse.
Je n'aime pas trop ce cadrage ovale noir.

un cadrage en forme d'oeil pour le regard attentif des membres de TE; moi contrairement � Dany j'aime bien cette pr駸entation, mais les 3 bateaux comme tu le dis, c'est un peu confus, mais le tourisme n'arr黎e pratiquement jamais l� bas car c'est si beau, on peut comprendre
belle r饌lisation et cr饌tion avec Photoshop cs4

Kalimera Dano,

The riverboats are very interesting with their different designs. They really developed a river version of cruises that easily recognizable from balconies and few stories of build. Their white bodies with blue stripes are makes your frame more rich one with reflections on Nil water.

C'est vrai que les bateaux naviguant sur le Nil sont nombreux, je suis d'ailleurs 騁onn� qu'il n'y ait pas plus d'accidents (les bateaux circulent jour et nuit) !
J'ai eu l'occasion de faire une croisi鑽e sur le Nil en 1996, je m'aper輟is que l'affluence est de plus en plus importante.
Tr鑚 bonne prise de vue exprimant bien la circulation importante (il va falloir instituer des feux rouges) !

haha, that's cheating, Danos. I thought this was a framing through the window of your room in the cruise. I actually aplaude your creativity here. This vignete is totally apropriated for the subject and it focused better the attention on the traffic jam on the river Nile. I apreciate to see the original in WS though along with your excellent explanation. Congratulations.

I think the strong point of this photo is the graphic pattern that the boats create, really a confusion of lines due to the use of a long focal lens that give the illusion that the boats are crashing one another! The round framing gives the impression to look through a binoculars. What a busy river!

Yeah... I recognise the view. Sailing in the Nile in those boats is an unique experience. I like the natural framing of the window, the bluish tones (it's curious how the colours of the boats don't go against that) and the pattern created by the windows of the other ships.

There seems to be a lot of big tour boats arriving altogether. From the thumbnail I thought it was taken through a telescope or something similar. Good idea to experiment.

Δάνο, τώρα γίνεται ο χαμός στην Αίγυπτο αλλά τέτοιες εικόνες ηρεμίας και ειρήνης είναι όμορφο να βλέπει κανείς! Ομορφο χρώμα, εξαιρετική λήψη..το μάτι σου το ανήσυχο πάει παντού...
τα αχυροκαλυβάκια τής φωτογραφίας μου φιλοξενούν κόσμο όπως με φιλοξένησαν και μένα και δεν μπορώ να σου περιγράψω τι όμορφα είναι να κοιμάσαι εκεί και να ξυπνάς εκεί..
