Photographer's Note
Women sell vegetables in front of one of the many small mosques in Harar.
Harar was a major town on the trade route between inland Ethiopia, the red sea ports and Arabian Peninsula. The walled town is recognised by UNESCO for its cultural significance. It's heyday was in the 16th century.

Good morning Steve
I assume that you are having a very quiet time in Melbourne.
Another good street photo from Ethiopia - it has certainly been a great place for to capture daily life.

Hi Stephen! I appreciate looking at daily life scenes like this, especially if I've never been to that place (or might never get the opportunity to go there). It teaches me something about that place and how people go about their activities. Well captured. rgds.

Hello ste4ve, Interesting scene from the street of Harar. I have heard that Harar is the place when you can feed hyenas. Have you seen it? Nice colours, interesting composition.
Take care

Hi steve
No man in sight, the street is the ladys domain to sell and buy goods.
I like the fresh green paints on the wall of the houses.
take care
