Photographer's Note
Ruins of Leptis Magna, also called Neapolis, was a thriving city of the Roman Empire. Its ruins are located in Al-Khums, Libya, 130 km east of Tripoli. It was one of the most beautiful cities of the Roman Empire due to the Emperor Septimus Severus, which increased and embellished, erecting magnificent public buildings, a marina, a market, stores, shops and residential neighborhoods.
