Photographer's Note
Taken from the citadel at Rabat looking towards the city of Sale across the estuary. This terrace was filled with people watching, chatting and enjoying the view.
Funny thing is that Red, white and black are the colours present in many arab countries' flags such as Egypt, Syria and Yemen.

Salut Daniel
Joli bokeh avec ces silhouettes sur fond de ville, bien les couleurs et cet unique visage visible au milieu des trois femmes.

Indeed Daniel they are like a flag. but arent flags supposed to represent people? here the people represent the flag. Great idea and a lovely timely composition

Hey Daniel,
Well seen tricolor match...On my screen, BTW, it's not black but Burgundy...
Good use of long focal length to isolate the women and have a nice backdrop...

I'm surprised that, as Moslem women, they didn't object to being photographed. (Or maybe they did, afterward.) It's very well constructed--the women in the foreground, their environment in the background, but with shallow DOF so the women stand out clearly. The photo shouts "Morocco" very loudly. Regards, Ken.

It's a pity this wasn't in Yemen, Daniel, because that's the closest match in flag colours. In some ways I think this might have worked even better if the woman in the middle hadn't been looking your way (i.e. all looking at the distant view) but it's still a great shot as you have presented it. Cheers . . . David

Hello Daniel
it's a long time I don't visit your gallery, and I am happy to discover this bright shot with the 3 women in vivid colors in front of the blurred city landscape.
Well done

Hola Daniel. Me encanta la composicin con las mujeres conversando mientras muestras la ciudad de fondo. El color anaranjado de la tnica de la mujer volteada combina con el fondo. Buena escena de la vida diaria.
