Photographer's Note

The Erg Chebbi sand dune photographed from in front of the Flamants Roses riad n Hassilabied / Merzouga. The sun was starting to set. Unfortunately we did not have a clear blue desert sky to contrast the dune against.
As you will see the small specs on different parts of the dune are people climbing. We made the mistake of undertaking that climb next day in the early afternoon. THAT was quite the workout.
