Koutoubia, a photo from Marrakech, South

Photographer's Note

Red / orange tones of Marrakech are a great pleasure for photography at the end of the day when the light is low ! Here is a wall of a building close to the Koutoubia mosque. I could'nt find any information about this building. Maybe one of the many palaces of Marrakech ?

des couleurs marocaines � souhait....
un bon cadrage..j'aurais peut-etre eclaici un peu les tons fonc駸? un passant aurait complet� la compo � merveille mais pas toujours evident de prendre quelqu'un en photo

Des murs aveugles, � priori pas extraordinaires , et pourtant la phto est tr鑚 agr饌ble � regarder , pour ses contrastes de couleurs et d'馗lairages . Le lampadaire et les plamiers ajoutennt des points d'int駻黎 .

Bel effet de la lumi鑽e sur les murs et remparts, le lampadaires et les palmiers meubles ces murs simples, beau contraste avec le ciel, si je me rappelle bien plus a droite il y a une entr馥, dont j'ai prise en photo

Superb warm cold colour contrasts between the reddish orange walls and path and the clear blue sky. Good sharpness and excellent saturation and colour balance. The bg palms add a nice splash of green. I lıke the textural details revealed on the wall by the superb sidelight. Tfs!

J'aime la composition et les couleurs de ta photo. L'id饌l aurait d'avoir eu un personnage avec son ombre allong馥 sur le mur....mais c'est pas 騅ident d'avoir 軋 sous la main!

Hi Olivier,

You pictured random walls of a random complex. That's the beauty of travel.

The color combination of orange and blue is wonderful. Adding the palm trees aside, it is even more enjoyable.
