Hello Chris,
This comes close to the record of how many persons you can fit in a TE photo. Craig will love it. I like it too, especially the early evening light and the fine sharpness and contrasts.

Hi Chris
we've seen this place on TE a few times, looks to be a hustle and bustle type of area. and one that it seems most tourists visit as well I think. Looking closely at all the people, its interesting to see the mixture of 'regular' clothing and more traditional clothing choices. a great place to people watch and must take in the local atmosphere. cheers

It is such a busy square and your higher point of view offered a great overlook. The many people add a lot of bright colours and the many houses have got a pleasant warm tone as well as a lot of interesting details.

Hello Chris, What a place this square in Marrakech! I was there in 1994 probably. this was my first trip to Arabic country and I was fascinated but a bit scared. Now I would just enjoy it and too many pictures. Fantastic composition from perhaps one of the cafes. This square changes at dusk and becomes one big spectacle.

Hello Chris,

You had a superb viewpoint from which to capture this very busy and very interesting scene! WE can appreciate the buildings, the market stalls and, more importantly, the people. As you say, a great position for uninterrupted people watching! And, what an eclectic mix of people!
The natural light is just beginning to fade but the introduction of the artificial lights adds a glow to the scene.

Chris, fantastic view captured from a terrace. The square is crowded with people coming at the market at dusk. The local architecture also appears. The cafe allows the tourists to be away from the crowd. Very animated photo.

Hi Chris,
very famous square indeed so often photographed!
I have seen it so many times without actually being there.
With the cafes which you mention this is a great spot for ablue hour photography since you can wait in a cafe for the perfect moment.
The square is busy day and night it seems and probably even more at night.
nice to see so many people in colorful clothes lovely decorating the view.

I saw several photos from this vast market square in Marrakesh, always crowded with action. Evening lights already on, but still enough light to bring out the vivid colors of the people dresses.
