WHAT IS INDEPENDENCE ?, a photo from Khomas, South

Photographer's Note

When I visited the town this building hadn't been inaugurated yet and I hadn't any idea what it was until I see an image at Rosemary's gallery.
If I understood well this building is a museun paying homage to independence heroes from Namibia and it was build in a place of a former concentration camp.
There is a big contrast of this building and the colonial monuments around, not visible here.

Quando visitei esta cidade este edif兤io ainda n縊 havia sido inaugurado e eu n縊 sabia do que se tratava at� ler a nota e ver a foto de minha amiga Rosemary, quando soube que se tratava do museu da independ麩cia. Se entendi direito ele se localiza no local onde antes havia um campo de concentra鈬o. O edif兤io moderno faz um grande contraste com os edif兤ios coloniais ao redor, n縊 vis咩eis aqui.

Anyway excellent presentation of the original architecture of Windhoek. Amazing building, it reminds me water tank first of all, but I sure this is gorgeous constructor idea, well seen.

a super-modern edifice, at first sight thought this was a water-tower, jorge.
It doe's make fine contrast to the older colonial building, one example seen on side's.
Fine taken from this perspective, the white car "fill" the road area with an added item.

Ola Jorge,
very nice presentation of this modern building that is used as Museum.I like its architectural style with its 'gold' colour to contrast perfect with the blue of the sky.
