Photographer's Note
I know most people doesn't like this kind of photo, but this one is for those who love nature and geology.
Under the layer of the stones I show in the previous post there was this other, showing an ancient layer of mud, we can even see the isolated rocks put inside the mud.
..........................................

Hi Jorge,
This is indeed mind-boggling. How can soft substance like clay keep it's for so long that it eventually turns to stone. And those cracks really reveal that it is solid. Special forms and good low coming light that shows shapes well.

Hello Jorge,
It will be sad if it is true that most people do not like this kind of photograph because I love geology. Question is: How is it hydraulically possible for very fine mud particles to be deposited with an unsorted assembly of large pebbles, cobbles and even boulders? The only explanation for this example that I can think of is that it is a glacial deposit with the very fine particles rained out from floating ice in a lake or the ocean and with large dropstones also released from it and falling into the mud. Does anyone have a better explanation?
Excellent observation and best wishes.

Hello Jorge,
Like or dislike, no matter. This is a perfect platform to learn the World through photography. This capture (with your notes) is just a perfect entry with good layout and sharpness.
One should think, when viewing it, how many million years ago, this formations was been created !
Thanks for sharing and warm regards from İstanbul

Ol Jorge!

Ola Jorge,
nice the tight frame as we can see the massive stones with the falling light on them to creates a more beautiful and effective scene.I like the light and the colour management as the clarity of the image.

Hi Jorge,
This is amazing stuff. Converted to B&W, you can convince people it was taken on the surface of the moon. Excellent!
