Photographer's Note
The markets of Hargeisa, capital of Somaliland are bustling. There are money changers with wads of 500 shilling notes - a hundred of them are about 5 euros, there are qat sellers, identified by the number of their supplier - 337 was a popular supplier, there are clothes, materials, spices, incense and, of course, fruit and vegetables.
Hargeisa is a vibrant commercial city, and has been rebuilt from the destruction wreaked by the Somalis from the south in the civil war of the late 1980's.

Thank you for sharing this interesting everyday scene. I like the attitudes of the two men, they are so vivid, so spontaneous.
I suggest to post larger pictures and to write some notes, both with the photos you are posting and in your gallery account page.

I don't know Somalia and we don't see many photos of this country in this site, but I think that's a nice scene of daily life. I like the colours and the expression on their faces!
