"The Beauty of Stellenbosch", a photo from Western Cape, West

Photographer's Note

Stellenbosch is the best and most prettiest historic town in South Africa.
Full of charms with the whitewashed walls of Cape Dutch architecture and plentiful of wines/foods to enjoy on the wonderful terraces and garden courtyards.
It's small enough to venture by foot and most of all, it's safe. The atmosphere is so relaxing and calm. It has more European appeals than African but I love this place , even only for a short time. A place where I would like to visit again.

It was pity that our hotel was far away from the town. Instead we ( tour-groups ) had our a la carte dinner in the hotel which was amazingly delicious.

As usual two more photos will be added. And again, it would be nice to know which one do you prefer as main. All the photos were taken near the park called 'Die Braak'.

Hello Loong,
The three photos all show us beautiful white buildings. I agree with your choice of main photo for the symmetrical composition and the best light and contrasts. The pleasant sky also plays a role for my judgment.

Your main picture and the first one in the WS please me the most.
Beautiful architecture well presented. I especially like the upper parts of the facades. Very nice with the blue sky and the building framed by two trees on your main photo and the one in the WS has a pretty framing on the top with the branches.
Remembering your last message to me, I made a mistake reading your note here. At first I thought you had written about a park called 'Die draak' ... I think you would have loved that.

Hello Loong, Nice all picture but I would never guess thay are from Africa. The main one is the prettiest with this simple white church. Charminh symmetrical composition, lovley colours.

Hello Loong,
A beautiful痴eries of photos with these white buildings from the days when the "Boeren" were still in charge here and the V.O.C. also had a powder house here.
I couldn't choose which one I prefer. All three are beautiful pictures each with its own atmosphere.
