Photographer's Note

Annecy is one of the cities in which the name Small Venice was awarded, like many other European cities because of its canals and its houses that caress the water. I rest of my idea, that Venice is only one, but it certainly is nice to grasp the reflections in the canals, and here the opportunities are not lacking ..

Annecy � una delle citt� a cui � stato assegnato il nome di piccola Venezia, come tante altre citt� europee a causa dei suoi canali e le sue case che accarezzano l'acqua. Io resto della mia idea, che di Venezia ce ne sia una sola, ma sicuramente � piacevole cogliere i riflessi nei canali, e qui le occasioni non mancano..

Very beautiful, attractive and agreeable picture!

Hi Luciano,

Good one but I would love to see more brightness here as it is a bit mysterious image. I like the mirror image of the man standing on the bridge. Though cropping is good.

An excellent composition with superb effects of the reflections. The woman standing on the bridge is maybe the finest detail. I tried to flip it over to see what it looked like and I think it works well that way too.

The buildings that are reflected here are lit wonderfully by a nice and warm winter light, which makes the reflections look even more appealing. The level of distortion is also excellent and it almost looks like a modern painting. The single person on the bridge is a great detail.

non sono mai stato a Annecy e mi piacerebbe visitarla, ma sono della tua stessa idea, di Venezia ce n'� una sola, un po' d'acqua e due ponti non formano certo la famosa laguna.
Per� i riflessi restano, come rimane la bellissima citt� e la tua foto.

For a moment I thought you had been to the real Venice in Italia. There are so many little Venice cities around the world. Wonderful reflections with great warm cold color contrasts between the red and blue and the inverted silhouette of the person crossing the bridge adds interest. Tfs!
