DA JANELA DO HOTEL!
FROM THE HOTEL WINDOW!

A new day dawning... I was up real early in the morning to get ready for lots of walking... I was high in my hotel room and enjoyed the view over the immensity of Buenos Aires, crowded with buildings of all sorts!
Down there... the rooftop of the ABASTO MALL!
My hotel... ABASTO PLAZA HOTEL, CORRIENTES AVENUE, 3190!

With this picture, I go on with a new series here at TE, showing some landmarks of BUENOS AIRES, the ARGENTINA'S CAPITAL CITY and the SECOND largest city in SOUTH AMERICA, considered a mix of several european cities (Madrid, London and Paris)!

Although the city has faced many economical crisis in the last decades with obvious decay of life quality in many aspects - today one can find homeless people, beggars, dirt, a certain violence in the streets and slums in its outskirts - the good spirit of the city still remains: Fun at night, with lots of people going out around midnight and going back home with sunlight still exists! Wonderful buildings and monuments are still all over the place!!!

The low light creates a very special patchwork of light playing around the buildings with their special combination of rounded and straight forms, well doen.

Hello Ney,
Another early morning view form your hotel room, and why not? Here we get the full effect of the early morning sunshine on the foreground roofs with their interesting patterns and shapes. In the background the rest of the city is beginning to wake up to another fine day. Light, colours and sharpness are all good here.

It``s not your best one,the sharpness in the distance,you know...
But I like the composition with this interesting architecture in the foreground and the light is fantastic.It``s a nice view above the town with the skyscrapers in the distance.

Essa luz que voc� conseguiu parece at� cena de final de filme, com todo aquele ar cinematogr畴ico, gostei. Esse pr馘io em primeiro plano tem uma estrutura bem diferente � uma industria ou est縊 de onibus?

Hello Ney, Interesting the effect of the warm morning sunlight on these roofs, I think the best feature of this is the golden tones, interesting also the contrast between the curved building in the FG & the upright skyscrapers.
From your hotel room Buenos Aires looks a big & busy City. Thank you

Really nice shot that captures the urbanity of the city very well. The low sun creates some interesting shadows and the different hues in the sky look really nice as well, much more interesting than a picture taken at around noon that would have been without many of the shadows and the different color tones.

bem informativa esta foto, gosto da grandiosidade do mercado (que n縊 visitei) e da cidade ao redor e seus edif兤ios. ima esta luz dourada que d� um ar suave � imagem. quando fiquei em BA encontrei um hotel n縊 longe da casa rosada, tive umas discusss memor疱eis com o sujeito da recep鈬o. S� porque pedi um recibo do hotel que eu havia pago adiantado ele montou um barraco comigo, disse que n縊 era pelo fato de eu vir de um pa﨎 de ladrs que eles, argentinos, deveriam ser ladrs tamb駑. enfim, espinhos de viagem
