Photographer's Note

Dear friends, today I propose an image that relates river tourism in the Burgundy canal.
By me in Italy is not easy to see the big barges navigate the channels, perhaps because there were very few.
In France, the waterways are a very dense network that allows to reach the English Channel or North Sea by the warm Mediterranean climate, allowing many fans, or navigate to the trade.
Built between 1775 and 1832, the Burgundy Canal joins the Saone and Yonne rivers with a length of 242 km and 191 through well-closed.
Near the town of Poully-en-Auxoix flows underground for more than 3333 m to the line of watershed between the basin of the Rhone and the Seine.
This image shows a closed 191 of the Burgundy Canal.
In the background above the green hills of the beautiful village en Chateneuf Auxoix.
The Burgundy Canal, crossing landscapes of great beauty, is suitable for pleasant trips by barge.

Cari amici oggi vi propongo un段mmagine che riguarda il turismo fluviale nel canale di Borgogna.
Da me in Italia non � facile vedere delle grosse chiatte navigare nei canali, forse perch� ce ne sono molto pochi.
In Francia i canali navigabili rappresentano una rete veramente fitta che permette di raggiungere dalla Manica o dal Mare Del Nord il caldo clima del Mediterraneo, permettendo a tanti appassionati, o ai traffici commerciali di navigarli.
Costruito tra il 1775 e il 1832 il Canale di Borgogna unisce i fiumi Saone e Yonne con una lunghezza di 242 km e attraversando ben 191 chiuse.
Nei pressi del paese di Poully-en-Auxoix scorre sotto terra per 3333 m per superare la linea di displuvio tra il bacino del Rodano e quello della Senna.
In questa immagine � rappresentata una delle 191 chiuse delle canale di Borgogna.
Sullo sfondo sopra la verde collina il bellissimo villaggio di Chateneuf en Auxoix.
Il Canale di Borgogna, attraversando paesaggi di grande bellezza, � idoneo a piacevolissime gite con le chiatte.

le chiuse sono sempre degli ottimi momenti per gustare questi abbassamenti e innalzamenti del livello dell'acqua per permettere l'atraversamento delle imbarcazioni.

Le chiuse! Croce e delizie dei navigatori fluviali! Val comunque la pena di affrontare queste seccature per godere di queste meravigliose campagne...
ottima composizione col canale che garantisce una profonda prospettiva, le chiatte che arrichiscono il canale e la presenza umana che fa da punto focale. E sopra tutto (in tutti i sensi) questo bel nuvolone a cui tu hai fatto l'abbonamento! (;-)

anche a me piacciono queste chiatte che navigano placidamente i canali, simili ne ho viste in foto in Inghilterra.
mi piacciono i colori con il bel verde dei prati e le pecore o mucche al pascolo sullo sfondo. anche il paesino sul promontorio e' molto accattivante

It is interesting to see the ships were build to fit the width of the canals..!
Must be interesting to come as a passenger on the barge, as it seems like the perfect platform for photography as it moves through this wonderful landscape...
This is a well balanced composition, good details and rich vivid colours!

Ecco un' altra bellissima immagine dei canali della Borgogna che assomiglia molto ai canali Olandesi. Ottimo POV e ottima l' idea di inserire delle persone che danno vitalit� a tutta l' immagine. Molto belli e particolari i colori naturali dei posti ed il casolare che si scorge in cima alla collina. Bella e dettagliata come pure il testo molto descrittivo.

These canals make life easier when travelling by ship. It certainly is a relaxing mode of transport. However I do not know if the situation for these canals is favourable also during the recent flooding problem.
