When Summer finally arrives we can look forward to an occasional evening visit by the Aerosaurus Hot air Balloon when weather conditions allow.

Aerosaurus Balloons provide champagne hot air balloon rides throughout the South West of England, over some of the most beautiful and spectacular areas of the UK.

how I would love to join the champain-party in the basket of a balloon above such a beautiful landscape! What a great opportunity to take photos that might be!
....but while sipping champain I may forget how to handle a camera....

Hello Les,

A lovely capture of a hot air balloon peacefully floating over an equally peaceful and calm landscape.

The low evening light is lovely with long shadows cast by the trees over the distant fields and fine lighting on the balloon itself. A very pleasing composition too with all elements nicely placed in the frame. Perfect exposure, lovely colours and stunning sharpness. The pale grasses at the bottom "underline" the picture perfectly.

Timely shot! Lovely photo. Great how one can let the eye stroll from fg to bg, discovering new things to look at at every layer of beautiful English coutryside it's a much stronger image the positioning of the balloon is superb and does give more punch to the shot and standout so superbly in fine weather and warm fg rolling hills. Blessed by the early evening light and lovely shadows hitting at an angle add so much to the beauty with wonderful textures and shades and the sun has caught the baloon nicely up there. Excellent perspective, depth and dof. Great timely taken shot, simply georgous captured to perfection. Well done, Congrats

Hello Leslie - Your view may not be as all encompassing as those from the balloon but you have captured the rolling landscape of Devon beautifully here. Lush green fields bathed in sunlight, white-washed houses nestled in the valley and the moors in the far distance. A fine view with the balloon well balanced by the young tress in the LHC.
