lightness of nature, a photo from Rhone Alpes, South

Photographer's Note

Today , although the weather was quite cold and dark in the valleyt (we had a tempertaure inversion), details of nature were anyway little piece of art. These are small ice blocks in the little river close to where I live. They will no stay there for long, it is extremely uncommon to have this river, characterized by a fast stream, full of ice. I liked also the shape created by the water while surrounding the ice blocks.

This is indeed a work of art made by nature. The combination of sunlit ice and moving water make an attractive abstract image. Well seen.

Hello Geraldine,
A beautiful detail. The crisp 'petals' of ice contrast well with the soft marbled effect of the moving water. The silver and ochre colour combination is lovely.

軋, j'aime beaucoup! Les couleurs claires, le mouvement et la vitesse qui contrastent fort avec le fig� de cette sculpture de glace... et le rendu des mati鑽es que je trouve tr鑚 beau. J'aime bien ton cadrage aussi. J'imagine que c'est un collier au cou d'une sir鈩e... Bravo!

Belle r饌lisation, j'appr馗ie ces captures, pas tr鑚 facile � ex馗ut�. Quand l'eau se m麝e � la glace avec comme ici des texture diff駻entes apporter par le temps d'exposition.
