Septembar a kise jos nema.
Velika Morava u Cupriji, nivo vode je ispod minimuma.
Meteorolozi najavljuju kisu, velike su vrucine za ovo doba godine.
U Srbiji je mnogo pozara, avioni gase pozare, i mnogo ljudi pomaze.
Svi cekamo kisu.
Pocela je da pada kisa.

September and still no rain.
Velika Morava Cupriji, the water level is below the minimum.
Meteorologists forecast rain, the heat high for this time of year.
In Serbia, a lot of fire, extinguish aircraft fires, and a lot of people helping.
All we wait for the rain.

Hello Pavle,
You took this picture on 29 August,so I hope it has rained since then and the fires are under control.
The picture shows perfectly how dramatic is the situation in Serbia now.The drought must have last for a long time.Very good documentary photo of current situation in Serbia.

Unfortunately this kind of promblem we have all the countries with a lot of fires and no rain. I hope the rain to come quickly and to replenish the river and cool the earth.

The water level in the river has certainly gone down , but still looks very lively with greeneries and the mountains at the back.Nice daylight to shoot this warm landscape.

It is a beautiful take on the partly dried out water body. The greenery is here a contrast to the dry brown earth. The line of stumps are out over the surface and the heat is visible in the form of the strong shimmer of light on the waters.
Thanks for sharing a photograph that documents the changing and unpredictable climate.

Beautiful photo of the river and its banks, despite the scarcity of water in it, the landscape is beautiful.
Magnificent view, with groves and mountains in the background even more distant.

Splendid river scene with the ruins of the old piers leading the eye directly to the lovely island and distant mountains.

Hello Paja,
this is a well constructed documentary shot that illustrates the problem mentioned in your notes in a direct and accurate way. We see how low the water is and hope that things will be better from now on. We 've had terrible problems with fires in Greece again this year. I like very much the superb depth of the picture, the distant view and colours. The colours are natural and the light very bright emphasizing the situation of high temperatures and aridity. Well done and thank you!

This, like so many others of your photos, tells a real-life story about this planet we share and the environment in which we live. Perhaps it is only fitting that a web-site established to learn about the world through photography illustrates these stories in such a graphic way.

Hallo Pavle,

Mooie en vooral rustige omgeving, waar je
volgens mij regelmatig komt (zou ik ook
doen). Het fijne van deze foto is de ruimte
die je erin hebt gelaten (komt de foto
aangenaam rustig over) en dat de in de
foto veel elementen in zitten die hier de
diepte versterken ( diagonale lijnen van
de paaltjes in het water en zorgen de
eilandjes in het water voor een fijne
lagen opbouw. Verder is de foto netjes
belicht.
