life is an illusion, and as shakespeare put it: all the world is a stage...

...who are you? ...who do you think you are? ...who do others think you are?

or, take it easier:

...what is photography??? ...what do you think it is??? ...what do others think it is??? is it really like that?

...an illusion?... am i an illusion?... are you an illusion too?...something evanescent, maybe...a spectre through the fourth dimension...limitied to the essence of words and images and perceptions...

Hi Deniz!..Perhaps they is illusion(or hallucination) perhaps a thought, but can also a idea that passed suddenly from the brain or the heart These and other many can be!!!! Exists a possibility in the faculties of each artist "to be possible to express itself freely" this perhaps is also leading!!!

Biraz h�z�n,biraz gizemle zamanın penceresinden bakmış sanki...bana eski siyah beyaz fotoğrafların naifliğini ve el olmalarını hatırlattı birazda..eski siyah beyaz filmleri..Greta garbo ları,Grace kelly leri..evet hayat bir yanılsama..kesin.

Hello Deniz, A very impressive image surrounded by mystique. Illusion or reality is not important the important thing is how it is perceived by a person, this intriguing image although created by an illusion is very real. Not sure any of this makes sense but I like this BW image, it has a genuine look of the supernatural, maybe another illusion.

Thought-provoking image here. It was critical that the smaller image be in focus and the larger image not so much. Also, the noise of ISO 1600 translates into perfect grain in B&W. My only nitpick (!) is that I think you have a bit too much negative space at the bottom.

This is wonderful ! I'm really wondering how this place really looked like. There must have been a lot of great photo opportunities (for the lovers of dark, of mystery, of weirdness, of unusual.. :) ).

I can see Dietrich with a bit of Dion :), but it's only Dietrich whom I could hear singing / whispering: 'life is an illusion'!

Hi Deniz,

I can easily prove a thesis, there is difficult to find a poor photo in your photo gallery ;)
This one for example ...
A magnificent, a brilliant one, full of mystery and implicit statements ...
And even without the Photographer's Note it still preserves these feaures ;-)
I love the photo a lot and these kind of photography as well.
