Hello Ike,
A very nice vertical image of this bell tower with full of architectural details. Looks like an elongated pyramid shape. I like the soft colors and what a clear blue sky as a background.

Hello Ike,
The campanile could not miss in your photos of Florence. Did you climb to the top? Or maybe you went to the dome of Santa Maria de Fiori? The campanile is less tired, but from either the views of the city, especially at dusk, they are wonderful.
Excellent contrapicado with excellent definition and color.
Best wishes,
Charo

Hi Ike,
The point of view from the bottom toward the top is giving perspective to the composition. It is also showing with precision the details and colors of the acrhitecture of the bell tower. The late morning light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,
An impressive perspective of Giotto Campanile, the colours and the beautiful decor are wonderful to observe. Even on the photograph the effect of the perspective is very strong. I like to focus on a part of architecture as you did. Anyway, one could not possibly put the entire structure in one frame because of the size of it. The way chose to photograph shows the details of the whole which represent the rest of the structure. I think that you have made a right decision to put the focus on a tower to represent the rest with very high definition, a superb presentation of the tower.
Very best regards,
Nobu.

Hello Ike,
A splendid capture of this beautiful bell tower. The plunging upwards point of view emphasises the height and shows the tower to good advantage against that limpid blue sky. Clarity is excellent allowing good reproduction of the architectural detail

Thanks for your kind words dear Ike
It should be quite a concert hearing those bells playing simultaneously on the higher three stories!
Nice perspective effect created by your low point of view on those interesting sculpture details.

The point of view on this really shows just how tall this tower stands, and climbing it will definitely give anyone a good workout! I like the perspective this gives, almost as if twisting slightly as it rises which gives it a new look other than the traditional. Nice and sharp with good contrast against the blue sky, helps show off some of the detail. Well done Ike!
Best Regards,
Jason

Hi Ike
A great shot, apart form the apparent quality, the dramatic angle - viewpoint makes the edifice look so massive with the converging verticals and exaggeration. The colors are sumptuous and stands out to blue background. Excellent capture and tfs

Hi Ike,
I remember seeing this last year when I visited Florence. A fine upward pov with good sharpness and punchy light contrasts yet still with good shadow detail. I like the 4 statues standing in the arched windows. The receding perspective tapering off towards the sky makes for an interesting shot. Tfs!

Ah, the Camapanile in Florence, very nice. I like this vertical, bottom to top, view, showing well the well made works with the tiles and sculptures on the wall of the tower. Did you go up the more than 400 steps to see the view from the top? Good work, congratulations!

Hello Ike,
This is photographed almost as much as the Duomo, with good cause, for it is a stunning building, tall, with fine patterned decorations, as well as an array of sculptures.
Your upward viewpoint emphasises the height and captures these excellent details.
Did you climb to the top?
It was quite a trek but well worth the effort for the views!
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)
