Roar once for me, pleeease..., a photo from Istanbul, Marmara

Photographer's Note

A handsome Cadillac, one of the many "killers" on exhibit at Rahmi Ko� Industry Museum in Istanbul. The natural counter light was too harshly reflecting, too difficult a situation for taking photos, and i couldn't use fill flash as well. I like the wide angle result so much that, i wanted to share it before completing my Croatia series. I count six of me reflecting on its shining waxy-schamy frame, maybe you can find more rigolettos...

The title is inspired by Korkut, who resembled it to a roaring monster :)

The museum is set in an Ottoman-period building, an 18th century factory which produced anchors and their chains. It was recently converted, although has retained many of its original features, and restored by Rahmi Koc, who is one of Turkey痴 most powerful industrialists. It was essentially done so he could house his private collection of models, machines and vehicles which he had collected from all over Europe, and exhibits include original penny-farthing bicycles, a ship痴 bridge, and an engine from the Kalender steam ferry.

Ben k m�y�m neden sadece 3 tane sayabiliyorum? Ve neden saydığım 4. beyazlı sen olamazsın? E kim o?
Geniş a�ıyı alırken 軻kmeyi hayal ettiğim şeyler tam olarak ble şeylerdi, şimdi en azından senin 軻ktiğini g�p "vay be, bak yine ka輓ış" diyebiliyorum :)
Şiddetle karizmatik, � boyutun de gidip bayrak sallayanı, şaşı bakıp şaşırmışsın ama aslında sadece geniş bakmışsın g�ş� .... (y�klem bulamadım, idare et)

gecenin bir vakti ce dumur sonra da eglence oldu :)
valla ne yalan sleyeyim ben de Burcu gibi 3 tane sayabildim. ger輅 m�zede bir rigoletto 10 kaplan g�c�ndeyse o zaman da nerede kalan 4 rigoletto gibi daha da i輅nden �ıkılmaz bir duruma sokabilirim durumu. :)))

tampondaki yansımalara takılıp kaldık ama insan yazmaz mı bu klasik arabanın markası modeli nedir? ka� beygirdir ve dahi hatta MTV ne kadar eniyordur? bilen beri gele :)

herkes senin ka� tane yansıman var ona takılmışken ben cadillac ambleminin hemen �st�nde patlayan ışığı takıldım (iyi yde ama :D ) o meşhur amblemi g�neşten bir par軋ymış gibi gteriyor. bu t�r arabaların hastası olup her akşam saat 7 de discovery kanalında ki "overhaulin' " programını ka�ırmadan tekrar tekrar izleyen birisi olarak benimde buraya gitmem şart oldu...

Wonderful shot ! The car really seems to be a roaring monster. Very difficult to take pictures at hard lighting conditions in the museum, nevertheless you have catched very well. I think the reflections with your shadow in the bumper on the shiny surface of the car are especially good. The great details and lovely colors are also good.

I like this self-portrait in the car (btw..I usually portrait myself through sunglasses...have a look in my Moroccan Gallery to have the most vivid example!)

first: this car is shining...she looks so proud, elegant and posh although her times have already passed away.
and I like this corner POV with focus on her profile...since it emphasises her size and shape

cok utaniyorum valla, hic TE'ye bakmaz oldum son gunlerde. ifot arayip haber verdi cadillacini, kacirma super bisi dedi. (satin alamayacagim biseyin fotosuna baksam noolucak ki demedim artik kiza! :PP)genis acin sayesinde metal bir canavara donusmus masallah. cok istiyorum boyle arabalar bulup cekmeyi. (sonra da photoshopta onlarla oynamayi). daha da cok istedigim sey aynen boyle bir arabam olmasi. fotograf cekimlerinde acaip isime yarardi. benim kirmizi duldul hic de cool diil.

Deniz one who looks into a photo from the outside that is taken with a wide angle Sigma or Canon 10-22 wide angle will always be intrigued with interest. In contrast the photographer from the inside who uses this kind of wide angle lens ends up with practice becoming very aware of the most dramatic changes that result from the slightest movement of the wide angle lens whether moving closer or farther away. I like the composition from this corner of the car, and can see you leaning over the rope fence with your jeans and white tee shirt on. Very nice!

yes this car does look like it is opening tsmouth in a big roar.You have chosen a good pov to show this. An impressive looking car gleaming with chome. I like the fun puzzle here as I try to count you in the chrome.
