Fun with Forts>
There are so many Massive Forts to visit in India, if my memory is correct, this is a tiny section of the Jaigarh Fort in Jaipur.
If you remember my last photo of the woman sweeping with her broom, I took THAT photo from this exact same spot looking down to my right.
There were some areas of the Fort which were Pink, some were Orange, some walls were totally faded. I captured these children playing and running around having a fun time. I hope you like this close up composition.

Hello Craig,
These two kids messing about created a great photo opportunity for you. You have framed the shot perfectly making excellent use of the strong geometric lines offered by the fort. Superb rendering of the colours and textural detail.

Hello Craig,
You found a great vantage point for a nice detailed photo of this old fort. The path leads the eye very nicely to the large pale red tower. I like the narrow framing, the appealing sunlight and the inclusion of the people a lot.

Hi Craig, interesting that this is taken from the same spot as your last shot, but a small turn around and you give us something completely different.
I am fascinated by the shapes at the top of the fort.I have never seen anything like them before.
The people are useful in helping us to appreciate the scale. The shadows are a nice extra.
Regards Jean.

Ciao Craig
bel colpo da un ottimo pov, la prospettiva del camminamento imponente e diretta, supportata dalla sua stessa ombra.
Importante la presenza delle persone per capire meglio le dimensioni di queste antiche mura.
Buona domenica

Hi Craig,a very unusual place to play for the children, but maybe there it's an usual moment of daily life. Great capture of the top of this fort, some colors are gone but the architechtural style is always there and truly beautiful, well done! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

hello Craig,
Red stones built fort of Jaipur, with a view of one round tower, massively built with casemates at the top.
Scaled beautifully with the people, and taken from even higher POV.
Well taken moment and sight.
Have a nice Sunday,

Hello Craig, These fortification look here like a big barrel. Nice play of lights and shadows, good inclusion of the boys.
There are a few forts very close, I was in Amber (or Amer), where one can go up on elephants. It was fun. Nice picture.
have a nice Sunday

Hello Craig,
A nicely seen warm cold color contrast of the guys in blue shirts and jeans at right and the castle walls in pink at left. Good high pov and fantastic sharpness. Well framed & composed. Tfs!

Hello Craig,
This is the 'eye' of a photographer!
I wonder how many would have seen this as a possibility!
The ramparts make a superb link into the circular tower where the figures, though a very useful focal point, are almost swamped by the stern enormity of the fort!
I just love the play of light and shadows.
We get a feeling for the whole from this snippet!
Have a great day,
Bev :-)

Hi Craig,
Yes, this close up of the bastion works very well with the patterns of the arches. I think you included well the human elements to your composition, and the dominating pink-ish colours work well too!
TFS! Cheers,

Hi Craig,
A great place high up on fort walls. India seems to be quite colourful everywhere, including fortifications! Good to see those boys up there. Otherwise it would be quite hard to guess dimensions.

Hello Criag,
Great architecture, and I like the POV, too. That narrow part of the fort leads us right to the larger, circular section, and to the other visitors. Nice colors and shapes in this one.

Hi Craig,
very impressive structure, lovely pink color -my daughter would love it! The presence of people adds a nice touch and most of all allows us to better appreciate the scale of the fortress.
Nice composition too with interesting fragment with eye catching geometry selected for the viewer.
Great saturation and contrast.

Hello Craig,
this is an unusual and very interesting perspective, an effective tight composition that brings out both the architectural details, that determine the style of the fort, and its colours. I also like the textures and the way the fort and the people are isolated from any other context. Clarity and colours are superb. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
Ourania

Ciao Craig
Not long til you leave for Portugal, you lucky fella.
This is a cracking photo. The light is superb and you've got the best of the colours and textures of the fort. The title of the photo is interesting too. It reminds me of an episode of Big Bang Theory, "Fun With Flags". Excellent sharpness and of course a fantastic drone POV.
Have a very happy Easter, I hope the Easter Bunny is good to you

Hi Craig
I like this tight composition thoughtfully framed. Not easy when you're trying to concentrate on people as well as on the building. Those kids play an important role here so we know how big everything is. Side lighting makes the image look 3D.
Best wishes

Hello, Craig!
Interesting and original composition taking advantage of the shapes of this fort! The POV is perfect to show that, and the people give more life to the composition! Very nice job! Well done!

An earlier post that I had missed. Shame on me, 'cause it is a beauty. Wonderful soft pastel paint, a bit bizarre to use it for a military construction. Great low light creates excellent shadows. I also like the tight crop.
Congratulations.
