Visiting the castle continues ...

｣ancut Castle is a complex of historical buildings located in Lancut, Poland. Historically the residence of the Pilecki, Lubomirski and Potocki families, the complex includes a number of buildings and is surrounded by a park.

The castle is one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments (Pomnik historii), as designated September 1, 2005, and tracked by the National Heritage Board of Poland.

Owners
In the second half of 14th century, the land was the property of the Toporczyk family, who built a wooden castle on the hill. In the 16th century the castle belonged to Stadnicki family. Since the 17th century the property was in the hands of the Lubomirski family, and then the Potocki family until 1944.

These chandeliers are really splendid; they make a delightful subject for a photograph. I like the symmetrical framing. Perfectly exposed with superb colours and clarity. Excellent rendering of the decorative detail, especially the animal themed frieze round the walls.

J'imagine le poids des lustres !
A l'駱oque de la bougie, il fallait descendre les lustres et allumer chacune des bougies.
La pi鐵es est somptueuse.

The lamps are very elegant and probably cost a lot of money. Basically you managed a perfectly symmetric photo. The sharpness is excellent as always.

This palace has an exquisite decoration, judging by the images we are seeing of it, a beauty these glass chandeliers, also ceiling and molding are precious.

This chandelier must be seen when lit !!
But as a visitors/tourists we can't be too choosey, Krzustof, and we take what's available.

Well seen! This is not a usual subject for a photograph but, I suppose a castle is not a usual home!

The chandelier is beautiful and the light is shimmering on its many crystal pieces. It makes a lovely centrepiece between the more modest light fittings.
You have composed the photograph well and placed the focal features above any wall distractions.
