Photographer's Note

A detail from the facade of a house in Ayia Marina. The architecture is simple and characteristic, behind the window is a small patio.
I spent a long while being silly and trying to get the cat's attention calling it (ps...ps...ps...ps) as loudly as I could, but didn't make her look my way. She was either deaf or the most disdainful cat I've encountered so far, a scornul Juliette:)

Some cats just know how to ignore people, ourania, snob like this one...
Yet, composition worked beautifully for you, with the iron-wrought railing in simple but fine pattern and contrast to white wall.
Also, the golden light through the window and its blue frame added marvelous colors to the whole.
Already said... simple, beautiful composition.

Cats are usually curious enough to react to a call of ps...ps...ps... so maybe this was deaf. It's cute anyway and suits the black railings and white wall very nicely. It's a charming picture and I will always fall for a photo of a cat.

Good viewpoint here, successfully pulling viewer into the frame where the stark kitty is perfectly placed to really hold the eye with some great contrasting colours to complement with. A nice pose you've captured of a quiet well rendered atmosphere. Well done, Congrats

Aren't cats the most aloof of critters? We have two living with us and most of the time we call them and they have this look, "I know you're calling me but I am going to ignore you, anyway." But then again, if you don't call them, they will come and jump in your lap.
Apart from the adorable kitty, I like the color combination and textures in this photo as well as its simplicity.

The black cat makes a superb focal point. The blue and white national colors of Greece are in evidence. Good sharpness and saturation. The amber colored frosted glass window sets up a nice warm cold color contrast. Tfs!

Apologiers in advance for this poor joke, but this image made me think to myself that the cat is saying:

"Romiaow, Romiaow, wherefore art thou, Romiaow?"

You see - I told you it was a bad attempt at humour!

An underlying abstract and graphic quality to this shot drew my eye to it; as surreal as my attempt at humour.
