Photographer's Note

View from my Summer appartement room at Evgatis beach.
A sailing boat was anchored all the day in 'front' of my window so i did my camera and shooted the result can see in the photo.

Evgatis

On the road that connects Thanos with the near south of Limnos, as you pass from the popular beach of Thanos you will come across one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Lemnos, the Evgatis (Nevgatis). The all-white fine sand stretches for about two kilometers and the deep blue sea here makes for refreshing dips for everyone! The tranquility of the countryside and the vast expanse of sand create a calm aura here even the busiest summer days. In Lemnos you will hear Evgatis beach referred to as 哲evgatis�.

Great capture of this majestic ship, that stands out so well against the soft colours of the sky. Perfect sharpness too and I like the slightly off-centred placement of the ship, which adds some more dynamism to the view.

The colours suggest an old water colour painting, which very much agrees with the style of the boat. It has a beautiful, timeless quality!

This is certainly a ship to travel with in the Mediterranean during a holiday.
The evening light changing the sky slowly with a red glow.

Great sky effect which is better than featureless greyish, an image has to be seen large to enjoy the great detail of the classic look schooner and it's bang on with the exposure. I love the dof, sharp in focus manicured to perfection and a shot enhanced by remarkable contrast to textured blue waters. A joy to look at this wide view. Congrats.
