New york without its yellow taxis would not be New York ...

Taxis in New York, with their distinctive yellow paint, are a widely recognized icon of the city of New York1. Taxis are operated by private companies and licensed by the Taxi and Limousine Commission of New York (New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission). The Commission is a government agency of the City of New York is best known for its responsibility for operating over 13,237 taxis in the city. She also oversees more than 40,000 other vehicles for hire, including "black cars" ("black cars"), commuter vans and ambulettes. The "Medallion taxis," familiar yellow taxis are the only vehicles allowed in the city to pick up passengers in response to a hail from the street. (wikipedia)

Rendering a bit different from what I am used to present .. inspired by photographs of a friend, I will try you and sharing this. Hoping that it retains your attention ... Let me know ..

Hello Bruno,
I understand the selective coloring is not to everyone's taste, however I think you should be congratulated on your application of the technique here. Superbly managed. It really allows the taxis to pop , especially from this very unique PoV . I think without the partial toning they would look less effective and get lost a little in the composition. It would be interesting to see the full colour version also for comparative purposes. Thanks for sharing a lovely shot

bonsoir Bruno,

d駛� qu'on les reconnait dans la rue ces taxis New-Yorkais alors en supprimant la couleur autour, on peut pas les manquer ! ;-)
traitement sympa, fa輟n BD ou encore "Sin City" (je n'y conna羡 pas grand chose donc peu de r馭駻ences).
le point de vue en plong馥 est vertigineux et du plus bel effet.

Simplement superbe ! La d駸aturation partielle est tr鑚 bien r饌lis馥 et rend particuli鑽ement bien sur ce type de photos. Point de vue, couleurs, gestion de la lumi鑽e, vignettage... tous ces 駘駑ents sont autant de partis pris que je trouve particuli鑽ement efficaces.
