Photographer's Note
Recently I have mentioned that I have only one out of 32 Irish counties left to present on TE: County Tyrone in the Northern Ireland. I like postcards so my primary choice was the largest town in this county: Omagh. Before going there I have searched online for interesting views in this town. There are only 3 photos from Omagh on TE and 16 from the whole County Tyrone. I have tried my luck with Google Images. It is very unfortunate that when you type Omagh in the Google Images, the most responses which you will get refer to Omagh Bombing (1998). Finally I have found probably the most picturesque and postcard-like view. The church in the centre with two unequal towers is the Sacred Heart Church. Google Maps has wrongly put the location of this church which was confusing. Fragment of the bridge hiding behind the trees is part of the Bell痴 Bridge. I considered another POV with more of the bridge visible but only this POV allowed to show this much of the reflection. I would love to see this place at the blue hour. With this upload I have managed to present at least one photo from each Irish county (Republic of Ireland: 26 counties; Northern Ireland: 6 counties).
Omagh (from Irish: an モmaigh, meaning "the virgin plain") is the county town of County Tyrone in Northern Ireland, situated where the rivers Drumragh and Camowen meet to form the Strule. The town, which is the largest in the county, had a population of 19,910 at the 2001 Census.
Omagh came into the international focus of the media on 15 August 1998, when the Real Irish Republican Army exploded a car bomb in the town centre. 29 people were killed in the blast 14 women (including one pregnant with twins), 9 children and 6 men. 220 more were injured as a result of the blast.
In April 2011, a car bomb killed police constable Ronan Kerr. A group of former Provisional IRA members calling itself the Irish Republican Army made its first public statement later that month claiming responsibility for the killing.

Bonjour Mariusz
Le regard suit naturellement le cours d'eau dans l'image, ce qui lui donne une belle profondeur.La cath馘rale comme point central est bien choisi et les d騁ails sont tr鑚 nets.

That village became very tragically famous in Spain because of a massacre caused by the IRA (i think more than 12-13 years ago) with some Spanish victims (students that spent some months there learning English during the summertime )...Anyway the picture shows that the city is really pleasant and beautiful and seems to have recovered its peace and quietness
The composition is very harmonic and nice .
Thanks for sharing

Hello Mariusz - Omagh, a name which immediately makes me think of the terrible bombing that took place several years ago. Your peaceful and very attractively composed shot is a better image to remember. Top class quality, warm regards Rosemary

Hi Mariusz,
It's a beautiful postcard, of course.
I like the structure of the framing, because it give a high importance to the river and to the magnificent reflections of the church and of the bridge on the water.
The landscape is very beautiful, and we can enjoy it thanks to a great light and a few very natural colors, which make a very attractive composition.
An excellent work.
Friendly regards,

Hi Mariusz
Congratulations on this shot firstly because of its superior quality but secondly because Omagh is under-represented here. Strange you know, I was just on the phone to my niece who went to school in Omagh (they come from a town nearby in County Tyrone. Omagh never looked so good as in your photo. Amazing blue skies and a wonderful perspective. The reflections are glassy and beautifully rendered. Thanks for sharing and I hope you're having a great day.
Warm regards

namaste Mariusz,
really a picture postcard here. The town with the famous towers are looking nice with the water and greeneries. The reflection is superb. Like the light and depth of this image, that those small flowers of grass are easily visible with those beautiful architectures at background. Great shot. Tfs.
Best wishes.

Hi Mariusz
yes, this is certainly your style!
postcard for sure here.
Personally, and i mean that because photography as you know is so subjective its not even funny, I would perhaps have left out some of the greenery to the right, and get a closer view of the left side of the frame, or keep the large tree to the right with its elegant water reflection, and cut the remaining 1/4 of the right side off. Its not a dramatic change at all, but just a little bit.
I havn't done a workshop in a while...perhaps i'll do one :)
But hey, don't get me wrong Mariusz, i'd be proud and happy to have this one in my gallery :)
its great to see a warm sunny day in N. Ireland too!
it looks so beautiful here. lovely depth and sharpness, with excellent lighting from beginning to end. Well executed and love the POV. I wonder what this would look like in Blue Hour! Try it!
have a great one
Craig
PS.....the workshop i did....don't focus on the lack of sharpness in my workshop, thats just because the file size is reduced even further, its all about the composition! Cheers

Hi Mariusz.
A wonderful composition, I discovered a lovely image of this place, which had only references by the unhappy episode of 1998.
Ideal these banks of the river with all this greenery and lush trees, the magnificent church towers emerging from behind the buildings is a fantastic image. I love the beautiful reflections in the river, the bright blue sky with clouds that added touch of charm to the composition, which tine a sharp and beautiful colors.
Best regards.

Hi Mariusz,
Congrats for having completed your map of Ireland ! I hope to do so one day, I just miss a few counties (Limerick, Laois, Tipperary, Monaghan, Longford and Roscommon) to do the same. A nice view here on Omagh and its most notable building, the Sacred Church. You had better conditions than I had since I had drizzle when I was there. Reflections are very nice, colours and light are excellent.

Hello Mariusz,
This surprisingly sunny picture makes your collections of Irish counties completed. But this is not only advantage of the shot. In addition, it shows a very picturesque town with interesting architecture and nice natural features. The wonderfully clouded sky and beautiful optical reflection also are big pluses of the composition. It is perfect, as well as the management of light and colors, and photographic quality. Great job!
Best regards,
Sergiy

Yes, you have found a very good pov (and a fine weather too!) to create a truly lovely postcard. The perspective is so effective in creating a sense of movement towards the church and the reflections in the canal are obviously very appealing. Here too I find a special quality in the colours which seems the trade mark of most of your photos but I cannot define what it is. Perhaps your PP?
A very good work and a most desired one for your collection of Irish counties.
have a nice day,
