Edifi� au XIIe si鐵le, le ch穰eau est pendant des si鐵les le t駑oin de conflits europ馥ns et de rivalit駸 entre seigneurs, rois et empereurs. Il voit se succ馘er d'illustres propri騁aires, dont la dynastie des Habsbourg et l'empereur allemand Guillaume II. Ce dernier d馗ide de redonner vie � l'ancienne forteresse et d'y cr馥r un mus馥 du Moyen ﾂge. Il entreprend la restauration et la reconstruction de cet 馘ifice assi馮�, d騁ruit et abandonn� au cours de la guerre de Trente Ans. Le chantier, remarquable par son envergure et sa modernit�, dure � peine 8 ans. Le Haut-Koenigsbourg restaur� est inaugur� en 1908."

Hello Serge,
You used the tilt well to create an attractive diagonal that makes us observe more closely the electric candles and the fine paintings on the ceiling. You managed a photo with a surprisingly good clarity and well rendered colours.

Nice effect with the oblique POV upon the three chandelier, Serge, an artistic approach.
Each has 20 bulbs shining, count the closer one...
The ceiling is no-less attractive sight.

I like the sense of movement, into the depths, created by the slight tilt and diminishing size of the chandeliers.
The details of the roof decorations are quite beautiful.
