View from the top, a photo from Ile-de-France, North

Photographer's Note

This is one of the wonderful things you see from the top of the Eiffel Tower: the Palais de Chaillot. Below we can see the River Seine. The picture was scanned and enhanced, but I had to post this wonderful place here. And of course, I spitted from the top, because if you go to the Eiffel Tower and don't spit from the top, you have not been to the Eiffel Tower.

This a very beautiful place, but the light on the top of the image is not the best.

Vista interessante vc conseguiu, mostrando um parte legal da vista da torre. Acho que de todas as suas fotos postadas no site, essa � a que tem mais a filosofia do site.

Spit from the top? Come on, the French are not that bad. :)
I think I never been ALL the way to the top. It was always too crowded when I was there. I must go back some time soon but not during a weekend, maybe than I have more luck getting to the top. View looks good from there. Good capture. I will send you a notice once I have my version. Keep it up!

Really nice POV, with good framing. The city streets open up like a flower. A circular polarizer may have helped as the light does look a little harsh. Next time maybe. Thanks for sharing!

muito bom o peda輟 da paisagem urbana escolhida por voc�, estando l� em cima. quando fui a paris me assustei com a fila e deixei de subir na torre, tinha tanta coisa melhor para fazer na cidade e conhecer. OK, a vista � cl疽sica, mas da colina de MM eu vi praticamente a cidade toda tamb駑. de qualquer maneira, se um dia eu voltar, gostaria de ir l� em cima, mas tendo fila imensa, t� fora ! BELO TRABALHO

This shot is very special to me, because I love Paris. When I was younger I traveled often to the French capital. This view is excellent. Very good POV and DOF. Well done. Thanks for your critique of my Songkhla boats which really are very special.

Beautiful top view of this part of Paris, very good perspective and depth. A few times been to Paris, but never made it to the Eifel tower. Maybe next time :-)

Hi Fabiano,

The downward point of view is giving depth to the composition. It is also showing the details and colors of the Palais de Chaillot and of the buildings. The strong light is affecting the output of the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Fabiano,

You're capturing well this cityscape from Eiffel tower by symmetr and a good angle, so we cal see the rows of houses of Paris, Seine river and beautiful garden with green. And, some boats which are at anchor on the riverside give additional good effect.
