Hello Tom,
The setting sun illuminates the sailboats beautifully. Their masts throw very long shadows in the water, almost longer than the masts themselves. Interesting foreground with the seagulls in the shallow water. The picture has a very good DOF.

Hello Tom,

A really lovely place for a photograph; the birds with their reflections, as you say, dining alfresco, the boats with their long masts reflected in the shallow water or linking m/g with b/g, and a lovely evening calm from the sky's illuminating colours.

Maybe a slight slant to the horizon, but I have just returned from a Christmas party!!

Hello Tom,

For natural reasons gulls normally dine outdoor, and most of the other meals too hehehe!
Not for that, they are survivors and take the food where it can be found...
I notice the amazing light here, making the sailboats really stand out!

Yes, the most attractive feature is the setting sun illuminating the sail boats but even the birds in foreground are functional in creating depth and enriching the image. I like also the reflected masts on the water. Quite a fine atmosphere and composition.

nice and charmy the calmly and tranquil environment of the Proviencetown with the seagulls to feeds on the foreground.The existence of the sailing boats on the backdrop with the reddish reflections on the surface of the sea to tell us that the sunset of the day.

Well composed using the rule of thirds with good sharpness & excellent color & symmetrical reflections. The fg gulls animate the scene. Love the late afternoon sunlight on the sides of the boats adding a yellow tint to contrast against the blue. Tfs!
