Hello Stephen,

I'm not surprised that you have given so much space to the sky for it is an important feature to the mood of the photograph.
I like your viewpoint, which gives a repeat of water in the f/g and, along with the jetty, encourages us to move outwards.
It's a fine exposure with nicely saturated colours.

Yes, we've had a lovely w/e. Was out all day, yesterday, metal detecting. It was very warm by the mid afternoon and water was essential! No didn't find much other than a George 11 halfpenny but my husband found a couple of artefacts that might be Roman!

You probably had no lack of fresh air on your stroll along the sea in January. The view is nicely split between water and rocks, which makes for a quite dynamic composition.

Hi Stephen,

The distance between the seafront and the horizon is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the mountain and of the seafront. The good luminosity is enhancing the colours. Have a nice day.

A seafront picture with good view of the near stony beach, the pier and some part of the promenade, Stephen.
The blue gap between the clouds gave good reason and sense of allocation to the pic. space, its diagonal line on the sky contrast beautifully to the hills "falling" to sea on the far side.

The weather is so beautiful and sunny that it can be taken in May or in Juni, not in January, even beach umbrellas are ready for guests, very nice photo

I like the diagonal streak of blue sky at left. Good sharpness and excellent color and saturation. The black sand beach suggests volcanic origins. Tfs!
