Bonjour Adrian,
The imprtessive ch穰eau rises prominently above the subtle environment.
Bright blue sky was marvelous, contrast well, and gave a fine reflection of the bridge on water.

Good sharpness & clarity with punchy light contrasts & excellent graphism. I like the reflections in the fg water. The stone bridge at right provides good lead in lines & perspective. The willow tree adds a nice splash of greenery. A marvellous blue sky backdrop. Merci et bon weekend.

Hi,
It is not easy with so bright light to find a position where the sunlight will not damage the picture, but here I see that you was able to deal with it in a very good way. I like also how the liefes are used to compensate the almost empty sky. Well done.

Lovely castle, Adrian, and your POV lets us enjoy the shapes of the bridge arches echoing the round towers of the castle - the little round willow tree adds a different texture.
I have a particular soft spot for Charente since my Huguenot ancestors came from that area. I visited Charente and Charente-Maritime in 2008 but didn't see this castle - I'll be sure to find it next time I am there!

It is truly a beautiful chateau and given a fine standing by your well chosen pov. The bridge leads well into the shot and is a perfect preparation, with its arches, columns and reflections, for the grandeur of the chateau.
Good use of light and shadow and excellent sharpness.

Hello Adrian!

A beautifully composed photo speaks its history. In every stone there seems to be a long history attached to it. Combined with the stone bridge in a strong perspective, the steep angle of the shot gives the castle a dignity. I love the inclusion of some leaves along the upper edge of the photo. The composition of the image is very effectively completed with them, it is an absolutely delightful image captured from an intriguing angle.

belles verticalit駸 avec peu de distorsion, une photo prise d'un angle interessant avec ce pont et ce plan d'eau tranquille � l'avant plan.
Un ciel d'un bleu un peu trop satur�, mais cela m'arrive aussi et cette tache en haut � droite que je ne comprends pas.
