Photographer's Note

Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer my walks round another example of the architecture of the city. Hope you like it, then some letters over the city.

Ronda is a city and municipality in the Spanish autonomous community of Andalusia, located in the northwest of the province of Malaga. It is the head of the judicial namesake and the capital of the region of the Serrania de Ronda.

Ronda has its origin in Roman Arunda that constitute from existing Iberian settlements. The Visigoths gave continuity to the arrival of the Muslims, who consolidated his role as regional head and its urban entity. Its location facilitated the defense of the city and placed in a strategic position to master the steps and paths to the Andalusia. This and the availability of land suitable for agriculture finally granted a remarkable historical importance.

The city sits on a plateau cut by deep pit dug by the Guadalev匤 River, looming buildings of its historic center, which gives the city a picturesque panoramic view, combined with the variety of monuments that has, in natural setting and proximity to the large centers of mass tourism of the Costa del Sol, has made a remarkable round resort. The passage of people for territory and an era has always left its indelible and unmistakable identity. The sum of all cultural relics that different people were leaving in Ronda, over the centuries, has resulted in a city and surroundings singular and transcendent, a place with heart and soul.

Round body gives us an armed planning a different architecture styles and essentially pure that means fundamentally, beauty. That same body to which we refer also gives us a unique natural environment where visitors do not feel a tourist but a traveler who enjoys the landscape in key affair.

However, if something Ronda occupies a place in prose and verse, in the imagination and memory of famous artists and anonymous visitors, it is because it is a city with a soul, a soul that impregnates like a lasting perfume that It is known, a soul that is convoluted every corner synthesis of all the customs and all the people of Andalusia.

Hello Angel,
A peaceful street beautifully presented. Well managed light and shadow contrasts with very good colours and clarity. I like the decorative detail and the point of view; one wonders what lies beyond the bend in the street.

In this picture, I like very much how you used perspective and contrast, you obrained an original result that works thanks to your excellent light management and well considered framing. Hello Angel,
A very pretty and quite alley in Ronda.
The houses look so beautiful with the balconies and windows with the wrought iron. Also the different elegant lanterns add to the charm.
Some cobblestones are shining under the limited incidence of light.
I have been twice in Ronda and each time I enjoyed my visit very much.

Hello Angel,
I heard people years ago talking about what a lovely place Ronda is, and i can understand them. This is a very pretty street with beautifully maintained hoses. At least in this place there are no souvenir shops or advertisements for ice-cream or soft-drinks. It looks just genuinely pretty and you have managed the strong contrasts very well.

Espero que tu viaje por el norte haya resultado bien, desde luego la zona es muy interesante.
Una bonita composicion, con esta calle en curva, que marca bien las esquinas, que forman las casas, tanto los balcones con sus macetas, como las bonitas farolas, dan mucho encanto al lugar, bien gestionada una luz muy dificil.
Buena nitidez, con un timo colorido.
Bien visto y mejor captado. Me gusta.

I had the pleasure to visit Ronda years ago but I think I stayed mainly around the bridge :)

In like the dog legged crooked street veering off to the right. Good lighting control under tricky conditions. The pale yellow stripe and red roof contrast well against the blue sky. Tfs.
