Church of San Tommaso Apostolo - San Renzano di Spoleto (PG)

The small church stands in a panoramic position at the highest point of the town, overlooking the valley below.
From the typology of the masonry it seems to belong to the late Spoleto Romanesque, in fact, it is not mentioned in the Pelosius list or in Pietro Sella's "Rationes Decimarum".
The first document that certifies its existence is the cadastre of 1401, therefore the most probable dating seems to be the second half of the fourteenth century.
The church is unfortunately abandoned and in conditions of serious degradation, with the broken roof and water infiltrations in the apse area that are compromising the image of the Madonna, if we do not intervene as soon as possible we will find ourselves regretting another artistic heritage lost forever. L'馮lise est bien plac馥 dans le cadrage. La prise de vue permet de voir les d騁ails de l'馮lise San Tommaso Apostolo et de la montagne. La qualit� de la lumi鑽e embellit les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journ馥.

I like how you have captured the strong, textural details of this old, stone church and placed them effectively in the f/g, where they act as an effective guide into the b/g.

Splendid composition of this simple stone church, next to this house that could be an annex to it, is seen in a high position next to that other peak.
Magnificent color, good management of lighting and sharpness.
