Photographer's Note
High tide on the River Adur estuary in Shoreham-by-sea, West Sussex, England. An old faded green wooden boat languishes quietly on the waters amongst the late summer flowering Sea Purslane (halimione portulacoides). This small grey-green and edible shrub grows abundantly on the river mud flats despite being covered twice a day by the salt water of the neap tides.

Hello Brian
This is a beautiful picture , with splendid colors and elements . But also a curious view : it seems to be in a box (the BG) , and the flowers in the FG are just stunning .

HI dear Brian
Oooh la la! This almost looks like one of those beautiful Chinese or Japanese pieces of art. The jade and gold tones are marvellous and I love the effect of the sea flowers. The light shining on the side of the boat is another magical element and the tight croppingwas well-judged. Thanks for sharing, very beautiful.
Have a lovely Friday

Hello Brian,
This close view on the old boats is interesting because of the flowers in the water which make an interesting foreground.
