J'騁ais dans un grand livre d'histoire.
Je regardais le couple qui s'馗happait entre les pages.
Stone Town, c'騁ait le sultanat d'Oman.
C'騁ait l'odeur des 駱ices.
C'騁ait la traite des esclaves.
Autant de chapitres.
Autant de fa軋des et de murs d駘abr駸

Le livre 騁ait humide et sentait le moisi.
mais il avait toujours le go皦 de l'exotisme
et des id馥s romanesques.

I was in a large book of history.
I looked at the couple which escaped between the pages.
Stone Town, It was the sultanate of Oman.
It was the odor of spices.
It was the draft of the slaves.
As many chapters.
As many frontages and dilapidated walls

The book was wet and felt mildewed.
But it always had the taste of exoticism and of the romantic ideas.

Hi Bertrand,
A very fine street scene with two details I like; the green bars and the red window shutters. Then of course the persons giving life to the whole composition. This street could certainly be found anywhere...

i can see all the windows were open at the left, must be due to the bright light coming from the other side... is it an afternoon or a morning light? nice shot of this narrow alleyway.

Salut Bertrand,
pas facile de g駻er ce genre d'expo. Tu t'en sors tr鑚 bien je trouve malgr� le petit bout br璉� en haut. L'atmosph鑽e est l� et elle est tr鑚 r騏ssie, compl騁馥 par ta note. Beaucoup d'駘駑ents animent les murs � gauche et � droite. tr鑚 bien fait.

Bonjour Bertrand ,
C'est curieux , mais cela ne me fait pas penser � une rue africaine . Mais je ne connais pas l'Afrique , et Zanzibar est un lieu particulier , charg� d'histoire . Une lumi鑽e s皞ement difficile � capter (surexposition en haut) , mais une atmosph鑽e d駘icieuse .

One can find the most intriguing subjects that make composition in these winding narrow lanes of old small towns..i see no drainage system..thats unusual..

mais o� vont-ils ? que se disent-ils ? Qui sont-ils ?
J'aime quand une histoire ou plusieurs questions se posent et s'imposent quand je regarde une photo.

Ce que j'aime aussi, c'est cette fa軋de orang� et au premier plan les barreaux verts, couleurs vives dans une lumi鑽e qui nous rappelle bien que nous sommes en Afrique.

On aimerait pourvoir emprunter cette ruelle.
Bravo, beau travail.

By now you have posted some photos of Tanzania from travel but it is always nice to see different views even of alleys because the architecture is interesting too here. A good moment to capture the couple at the right position of this POV.

m麥e si on doit s'y sentir un peu � l'騁roit, je pr駸ume que se promener dans ses fines rues nous donne une sensation particuli鑽e, rarement connue de ceux qui habitent ma r馮ion.
Belles couleurs aid馥s par des lumi鑽es favorables qui s'engouffrent bien jusqu'au sol.
