Taiping Lake Gardens

The oldest lake gardens in the country, this park sprawls over 62 hectares at the foot of the hill resort of Bukit Larut. Magnificently sculptured out of the natural environment, these picture-postcard gardens present a serene and panoramic landscape with their lush greenery, lovely lakes and a profusion of colorful flowers and plants. The unforgettable sight here is the huge, ancient angsana trees with their drooping branches that seem to defy the law of gravity.
Located near to Malaysia oldest town and being the most beautiful lake garden in Malaysia, Taiping Lake Garden always becomes the centre of photography activities and favoured by wedding couples as dramatic backdrop of wedding photos. The tranquility, beautiful lake view and misty mountain scenery are something that you will never forget. Taiping Lake is easily accessible from North-South Highway of Peninsula Malaysia and can be reached by following the road signs exiting before Ipoh town if you are coming from north.

Hey Foozi,

Lovely scenery and some nice reflections. The colors are alright, but it`s a bit overexposed in the upper corner, but that isnt a problem, cause I had a hard time noticing it, because it covers so little of the photo. Good work my friend.

Wow, this is simply a stunning reflection, the water so rich with the greening tone, the air is fill wiht moister threaten with a rain, or perhaps it just rained. What strikes me more in the tropics are the different hues of green, which we can not see anywhere else. The reflection is fantastic and the brown trees add a nice focal point to the good shot. Well done.

The reflections in the water of the lake are assets to the composition. Th trees are framing well the lake. The point of view is showing the details and colors of an area of the gardens. The light is enhancing the colors and is giving them a good saturation. Have a nice day.
