I'll present the same place in a larger and panormic view with the small but charmy house in the middle,between the two canals,to be the best of all in the fishermen痴 quarter.

The Fischerviertel (ﬁshermen痴 quarter)

The charming Fischerviertel,Ulm痴 old fishers� and tanners� quarter, is slightly southwest. Here beautifully restored half-timbered houses huddle along the two channels of the Blau River. Harbouring art galleries, rustic restaurants, courtyards and the crookedest house in the world � as well as one of the narrowest � the cobbled lanes are ideal for a leisurely saunter.

Hi, Danos,
I am the first today! ;) Another interesting picturesque photo from the historic center of Ulm. So cute architecture, well seen. I have never been in this part of Germany but these streets remind me the photos from Alsace, Strasbourg. Good title, I am trying to find a desk of restaurants or bar, pub etc. ;)

Kalispera Danos,
Built on the middle of the canal, the small house-island is a charming place to sit and relax after work or on holidays.
Fine POV from a higher point, the colors and ambiance full of charm.
The house on left, covered with the green climber on the balconies, is an eyes catching element on the well taken photo.

What a fine place, its like we are looking into some secret garden, and we are privileged to see it. What a wonderful place this would be to live, surrounded by water and looking at these fine houses. THe light has created a very magical effect over the central building.

This is a nicely composed shot with the small house in the middle of the river. This would truly be a fisherman's paradise! The ivy covered building on the left provides an excellent point of interest for the shot. The lighting and colors are great as is the photo's sharpness and DOF.

Hi Danos,
I had no idea that Ulm has such a charming old town. It is not so well known as a tourist destination but seems worth a visit.
Very fresh looking place with plenty of green and canals next to those old houses.

A charming olde fishermen's quarter neatly sit between the waterways which radiates a calm and soothing mood. Lovely the way the canal leads onto whole depth, there are lots of colorful elements to enjoy, strong on detail, lighting and shadows is subtle and the overall effect is very pleasing where vivid reds catch attention as strong focal points. I like the reflection of the canal at left. Good repetition of the triangular patterns of the roofs and excellent colour, sharpness & saturation. The red roofs and doors contrast well against the blue sky. Tfs!

The house in the centre is charming for sure, but I am enhanted by the house on the left in dark brown with hanging balconies laced with flowers and nice drapes...I also like the light & shadow which plays a nice role. Lovely work!
