Photographer's Note
In the White Desert of western Egypt - the natural white rock formations present a landscape like no other. It is possible to do an overnight safari to this desert from the town of Bahariya, and camp out in tents in this vast and unusual location.

Hello David!
It is really interesting and extraordinary your last post!
I like very much the point you chose for shooting and the light management.
Tell me why did you use 鼎loudy weather mode? I may suppose for getting a lot of light in shadowy areas of the exposure.
Many thanks for sharing, my friend!
Best regards,
Athanasios.

Hi David
This is indeed a very unusual and very interesting landscape. The pastel shades of the morning and the natural earth colours are wonderful. You have seen some amazing places and thanks for taking us with you.

Hi Dave,
Interesting formations in that area - I assume they are all natural and the one that appears to have a face is an illusion?
Good composition and exposure. Nice use of the first light. Funny, it looks like one I posted a while back, shot in Alberta, Canada...
Have a great one!

Hi, David -
Salvador Dali was my first thought when I saw the thumbnail - between the color of the sky and the fantastic shapes, it has the feel of some of his 1930's paintings. The shapes are unbelievable and very well captured.
In fact, it's so close to some Dalis that I decided to do a bit of a WS to play with it and see if I get it a bit closer. See what you think.
Best,
Dan

Hi David,
Interesting compo of this strangely beautiful place, to which the word surreal sounds most appropriate. You used wisely not only the shapes and colours but also the light.

Hello David,
From the thumbnail I thought the subjects were manmade.
Interesting to realize Nature can make appealing and interesting formations.
Good lighting and sharp details, good job,
Ray
