This is the first picture from those taken in the forth bike travel of mine during the summer of 2010. Its route was following:

Odesa � Mikolayiv � Noviy Bug � Dolinska � Oleksandriya � Svitlovodsk � Hlobine � Khorol � Lubni � Romni � Konotop � Novhorod-Siverskiy � Shostka � Hlukhiv � Putivl � Bilopillya � Sumi � Bohodukhiv � Merchik (near Kharkiv), 11 days, 1280 km

In the picture you can see the chemical plant of the Sourthen Port located in the Hrihorivka Village near the city of Yuzhne (Southern).

Hello Sergly,

116 km per day is a serious marathon bicycle ride. Resembling a skyline of skyscrapers, the chemical plant casts an impressive image. I am surprised that there are not visible smoke and other emissions, except a very faint one about 20% of the distance from the left edge. Very good composition, evocative of a line spectrum.

An unusula shot in TE but a shot very interetsing. very beautiful too with a plesant graphic effect thanks these vertical elements which arise in the light of the morning.

В 1960-е такой пейзаж вызывал гордость и радость.
Сегодня это имеет другой смысл, ибо пользы для окружающей среды и здоровья мало. Хороший индустриальный снимок. Прекрасные утренние цвета.

Hello Sergiy,

One would say a futuristic landscape, especially with this special light. An original and interesting sight on this industrial environment. By reading your note I realize that you are a fanatic of the bicycle, it is well !!! For my part when I make 3 turns of wheel, I am exhausted� I prefer the walking !!! Well done Sergiy.

who'd have thought that a chemical plant would produce such a nice scene. the height variance of the stacks is what makes it work for me.
the lighting is elegant too. the sky is a bit hazy, but still an elegant shot

Hi Sergiy,
I am actuall a chemist and I always liked the industrial architecture, especially the chemical factories. They do make a lot of harm to the environment in most cases but they do look like views from the future. So this is very interesting to me.
Strange orginal landscape.

Утренняя дымка здорово получилась.
Объекты высокие, расстояние до них достаточно большое и поэтому хорошо видна дымка.
Очень интересное решение.
И еще это что-то из времен социалистического реализма.

В первую очередь - мои поздравления по поводу ровно выстроенных 4-х нулей -0000-Редко такое совпадение бывает.
Издалека, картина напомнила мне космическую станцию, откуда шатлы и подобные вылетают, только увеличив, понял о чем идет речь!
Очень понравилось, по цвету, композиции, ракурсу.
