Photographer's Note
This is the second picture from my visit to Snowdon. Looking down from the PYG track into the lakes and mountains beyond. The miner's track can be seen going through the centre of the lake.
The day before this I could not even see the lakes from the same position, the whole area was covered in mist and the camera did not come out of my bag all day. Fortunately I had good weather and good light the next day and made the trip to the summit for the second time.

Hello James
I've been watching the "Britannia Series" with Nicholas Crane hiking around Britain, it depicted spectacular scenes such as this one, you have captured it amazingly well with great sharpness and colour. FTS

Hi James,
Very cool shot, good POV from up high, feels like a bird soaring over this beuatiful nature. I see there some decent wind from the ripple of the water. part of the clouds are little over exposed but not too bad. You managed to get very nice details and good color. Composition is just great.

HI James,
Lovely shot - I really like the contrast in this photo particularly the clouds - it definately helps this shot stand out - even the shadows of the clouds onto the land is very impressive.
Well done and thank you for sharing

At last I can see the lovely scenery around Snowdon!
I climbed this mountain long ago but we were folded in a thick fog and nothing could be seen... now I know what I missed! (:-)
I like the strong contrast here between shadows and lights which gives a very typical atmosphere found in Britain.

Donato

A grand photo of a favourite place of mine, albeit one I have not been to for far too long ! I have climbed this track in both conditions, cloudy and fine, this is an excellent capture of a one. Cant speak for the other !
Many of your gallery are spots I have visited, and evoke many happy memories. The Power of Trek Earth !

A breathtaking landscape.
Beautiful cloud shadows on the ground and the definition of water movement.
