Photographer's Note

Another picture taken from the beach on Aride Island in the seychelles, the view is looking southeast towards the smaller islands of Coco and felicite. I must have taken this one morning walking along the beach, a stunning place to wake up and enjoy the start of the day. I shot at ISO640 here and with a shutter speed of 1/640th of a second, have no idea why, my mistake.The area of light on the horizon was very bright and impossible to control entirely and despite being blown out a little in parts I still think as a whole it is worth sharing.

Beautiful vertical capture of this sun rise. Very sharp and detailed with ambiant colors. You bring back fond memories of these islands.

Excellent sunrise photo. I like the low horizon and the branches at the top of the frame that make the good composition. Exposure and rendition are spot on.

Your photo really gives a relaxing mood, and in another hand, it is a real torture for me since tomorrow I have to work one day before a holiday on Tuesday in my country. urgh , lol
I love the color of the tosca sea.. I think its a little tilt in the horizontal line but it doesnt matter at all , because im going to start imagining, me resting there and having some nice nap hahaha

Hello James,

You have a good eye for composition, which uses the lines, the features and the idea of thirds, to good effect. The beach makes a fine lead and it is delightful how it meets the sea. The colours, in this early morning shot, are must unusual but no less attractive because of that.
The use of the overhanging branch effectively anchors the f/g, giving a great feeling of depth as we scan out to sea.

This morning scene is highly aesthetic and colorful. In addition, it was captured in such an interesting and exotic country, as the Republic of Seychelles. Excellent composition, lovely colors, marvelous light, and perfect quality despite the not very good lighting conditions at the moment of capturing!

Hi James. The rising sun is very beautiful. Someone said that it's a pity that it happens so early :).
You caught a beautiful scene, I like the way you framed the picture with the tree branches. Colors are amazing, sharpness is good too and sense of depth is very strong. Well done.
