Current landscape image, the name of the narrow river 鍍 Geleed� in Dutch
The anchorage is broadly characterized by an open to semi-open polders, where the canals, dikes (often in combination with roads), rows of trees and waterways are the main structural determinants. Large parts of the polders still exhibit the typical land use related to the physical structure of creek and come back grounds grounds. The original creeks slibten increased by initially sand and clay on top, but by subsidence of the peat in the sealed bowl grounds this former creek channels were put in relief and now form ridges between the surrounding grounds bowl (relief inversion). At the higher and drier land creek back one finds even (especially) on arable land. This also come the scattered and the paths for. The bowl grounds are traditionally grassland (historically permanent grasslands) and exhibit micro relief either natural or caused by excavation (peat digging, from brig king, dams, water management).

Dit keer niet een rechte lijn naar de horizon maar twee. Een rechte en een gekromde die uit elkaar lopen. Het levert weer een prachtig plaatje op. Mooie kleuren bij deze bewolkte lucht waar de zon misschien later toch nog doorheen prikt.

Hello John,
This is a nicely composed photo with attractive views in two directions, the road lined by trees to the left and the narrow winding river to the right. The small dam provides an interesting focal-point. There is a wonderful sharpness and very well saturated colours.

Opvallend scherp en met een mooie diepte, John. Dit vind ik 鳬n van je beste! Vooral het kantje helemaal links met de fietser in de verte, de railing aan de kant van de weg als een pijl in de dipete...en dan aan de andere kant het mooie afbuigen van water en weg. Zoals gezegd: dit vind ik een van je beste! Proficiat dus.

so these are the trees we sometimes see from you in the winter? with the long long lines and depth? lovely.

Hello John,

The more I travel around our countryside, I see the need for drainage like polders. Many fields are waterlogged after such a lot of rain.

This is a lovely, winter's scene. Though the sky is cloudy, there is a calm, tranquil atmosphere from the meandering canal and the tall protective nature of the tree line. The characteristic, flat land offers long views over the fields.
Your exposure is sharply detailed with well saturated colours.

Hallo John,
Kijk, om 鳬n of andere reden is deze ook aan mijn aandacht ontsnapt terwijl vanop de kleine afbeelding reeds duidelijk is in welk deel van de wereld deze foto genomen werd en vermits het TE betreft, weten we daarbij ook door wie.
Ik heb niet echt een plan om de foto's op deze site te bekijken. Meestal hangt het ervan af hoeveel tijd ik heb. Het kan ook gebeuren dat ik slechts enkele minuten tussendoor heb en dat ik toch snel even ga kijken.
Heel mooi vind ik hier dat de twee soorten 'wegen', een baan en een waterweg op het beeld naast elkaar vertrekken om dan toch een andere richting uit te gaan. Indien er niets in de weg stond, had ik links misschien een heel klein beetje meer van de straat getoond. Anderzijds moet je natuurlijk de rechteroever van de kleine waterloop mee op de foto hebben en dat is duidelijk wel het geval.
Het valt op dat men in dit landschap heel mooi rechte wegen heeft weten aan te leggen terwijl het water toch kronkelingen maakt.
Prachtige landschapsfoto in een goede compositie gepresenteerd en met uitstekende scherpte!
