Sami chapel, a photo from Finnmark, North

Photographer's Note

Along the E6, going from Alta to Olderfjord, stands a Sami chapel. In the summer herds of reindeer graze on the fjell. Today evrything is still closed and abandonned, but spring is on its way.
Chapelle des Sami le long de la E6 entre Alta et Olderfjord . En 騁� des milliers de rennes trouvent � manger sur ce plateau, mais pour l'instant tout est encore abandonn�. Le printemps arrive tr鑚 tard sur ce plateau.

Une composition que j'appr馗ie, elle nous conduit directement vers la chapelle. J'en profite pour vous dire que j'ai un tr鑚 bon souvenir de notre rencontre � Oost-Maarland.

Bonjour John,
29 mai et on voit que c'est encore l'hiver la haut, des conditions semblables a la montagne vers 2500m, une image avec de la perspective pour guider vers le sujet et bien contrastee.

Cette image est tr鑚 belle , et tr鑚 originale . Toutes ces lignes sombres dans la neige , et la belle diagonale de la clure , qui nous conduit � la petite chapelle . Il y a juste que cela nous donne un peu froid .

Goedemiddag John,

Een uitgekiend standpunt waardoor er een prachtig perspectief ontstaat, daar zorgt de afsluiting voor.
Dit beeld doet mij even denken aan een periode dat ik veel pentekeningen maakte met chines inkt, hier vind ik de zelfde structure, zeer goede samenstelling, goed gedaan, bedankt.

Belle compos avec l'馮lise sur le c� et la bordure en diagonale.
C'est amusant, j'ai vu des images identiques dans plusieurs films nordiques � Rouen.

Strong graphic composition. I like the way the fence is leading attention to the chapel which is situated in the strongest point of the picture. Nice work.

The snow and light makes interest for this shot of the small chapel John. Good lead by the fence. And what a load of snow so late in the season. Hopfully now problem driving up there..

Hello John,
I like the graphic appearance and the pale light in this photo. The days are already long at the end of May and the intense start of spring is just around the corner. The fence forms a nice diagonal in the composition. TFS.
